Emulation Info

 Throughout it's lifespan the Satellavliew service allowed users to download much of the Super Famicom's old game catalog. Among these was the original Kamigami no Triforce (The Japanese name of A Link to the Past). This game was broadcasted at many points during the Satellaview's lifespan - most notably on the week of Mar 2, 1997, to hype up BS Zelda no Densetsu: Inishie no Sekiban, and from there throughout the 1997 year.

It isn't really much different from the traditional Japanese version of the game - in fact, the only changes are likely to be reformatting of the SRAM code for use on BS-X. Nevertheless, it is up here for completeness of the BS Zelda Homepage.

With the Boy Mascot patch by Kiddo Cabusses you can play as the male BS-X Mascot. This patch should also work with the regular (non-broadcast) version of Kamigami No Triforce.

With the Girl Mascot patch by Kiddo Cabusses you can play as the female BS-X Mascot. This patch should also work with the regular (non-broadcast) version of Kamigami No Triforce.

Emulator(s):


  • With Snes9x you'll be able of playing the whole game but you'll have to use save states as the save ram won't work.
  • BSNES will also play the game through "Load Special" using the BS-X ROM (found here).
  • With ZSNES you won't be able to enter your name, thus the game will not begin :\
