Near the end of year 2007, videos of entire play sessions were found on NicoVideo. The videos contain all the soundtrack and voice acting used in the game. Someday, we hope to host these videos ourselves (though they are massive in size), but in the meanwhile, we can offer a translation of the voice acting.
Naturally, because we have already translated the text in the game (and made a patch of it), this translation ignores ingame text completely and focus on the voice acting.
With all that said, enjoy the translation!

Note: as in the Japanese ALttP, Death Mountain is actually named Hebra Mountain and Ganon's title is Demon King.

will be transmitted immediately.
This program is being broadcast to the entire country via satellite.
The game’s sound is BS so it is high quality. Enjoy its great intensity.
This game exists in Zelda Time, so you cannot save it to your memory pack.
Now, welcome to the wonderful world of Zelda.

Narrator:
The legendary kingdom of Hyrule. Six years ago,
this land was at peace. But before that the leader
of a group of thieves, Ganondorf, obtained the Triforce,
became the Evil King Ganon and tried to conquer this land.

Ganon possessed the priest Agahnim and one by one
sacrificed the descendants of the Seven Sages which
broke the seal.
Because the Princess of Hyrule, Zelda, was a descendant
of the sages, she was locked in the castle’s dungeon by Agahnim.
But Zelda desperately spoke from the dungeon.

Zelda:
Please help me! My name is Zelda. I am imprisoned in the castle’s dungeon!

Narrator:
Link, a boy of Hyule, heard her voice and began an adventure
to rescue Zelda and defeat Ganon.
Many difficulties were awaiting Link, but he mustered his
courage, power, and wisdom, and was finally able to defeat
the Evil King Ganon.
And then Link left on a trip to find a new adventure.
The people of Hyrule extolled him for his accomplishment and
revered him as Link, the Hero. Since then, Hyrule has had
peaceful days.

Zelda:
Ah, there’s a light in the east... what is it?

Narrator:
Zelda headed towards the suspicious light.
A man named Agihna, the younger brother of
Hyrule’s Elder, Sahasrahla, was there.

Agihna:
Ahh, I’m getting older and woke up early this
morning. Let’s see...
Oh, what’s this?

Zelda:
Agihna, has something happened?

Agihna:
Princess Zelda, there is a suspicious youth here.

Zelda:
Aah! N-not dead, I hope...?

Narrator:
One day, a mysterious youth fell into Hyrule.

Soldier:
*gasp* *gasp* I-it’s terrible!

Agihna:
You’re the soldier who was at the Eastern Temple.
What happened?
Oh, you’re injured. Are you all right?

Soldier:
All of a sudden, a lot of monsters appeared and the
defending soldiers were annihilated. It looks like
they haven’t appeared around here yet, but... uh...

Agihna:
Ah! Hold in there.

Narrator:
At the same time, a lot of monsters suddenly appeared.
A new crisis had come to Hyrule.

The youth started an adventure to save Hyrule.
And there was some kind of writing on the stone
tablets the youth found in the dungeons.
Princess Zelda predicted that the Book of Mudora
was needed to decipher the writing on the tablets.
The youth went with Agihna to the house of Link,
the Hero, in search of the Book of Mudora.

Agihna:
Oh, you’ve awakened.
Youth, I woke up before you.
I looked for the Book of Mudora,
but I couldn’t find anything like it.
But the princess says she saw it in
Link’s things, so it must be here.
I’ll continue to search for the Book of Mudora,
so why don’t you go looking for a new stone tablet?
I see. So you’ll go look for it?
Oh, before that, these are your things. Take them.

Narrator:
Let’s make sure you know how to play.
If you press the Start Button, you will
find the items you are currently carrying.
Press the Start Button and then the L Button
to view today’s Objective Screen.
If you press the Start Button again you will
return to the original screen.
Press the R Button at the Game Screen to
view the Item Description Screen.
To swing your sword, press the B Button.
Hold the B Button down to accumulate power.
Pick up objects by pressing the A Button.

Agihna:
Well then, if I find the Book of Mudora,
I’ll let you know right away.
First, I’ll search inside this room. Let’s see...

Narrator:
If you do not have the sword, go to the Eastern Temple.
If you do not have the boomerang, go east of the
potion shop and to the bottom of the waterfall.
If you do not have the Magic Hammer, go to west
Hyrule, east of Kakariko Village.
If you do not have the Hookshot, go to the
Lost Woods in the northwest.
If you play the ocarina you can change locations
instantaneously.
If you don’t know where you are, press the X Button
to display the map and confirm your location.

Zelda:
Ah, I wonder if Agihna has found the Book of Mudora yet?
Well, what should I do to help?
Master Agihna usually called for the Fortune Teller, didn't he?
I, too, can see the future if I calm my heart, but...
I’m sorry, but could you go call the Fortune Teller?

Soldier:
Yes, ma’am!

Narrator:
Have you gotten the Power Glove?
If you have the Power Glove, you can carry white stones.
To carry even heavier things, you need the
Powerful Glove, but you can’t get that now.
There is also a glove with holes in it that you
can only use once in an area, so if there is a
stone that you just can’t move, try it out.
You can only use it once in the same area.
If you want to use it more than once, go to
another area and come back and try it again.
Now I will explain how to use items.
The torch can light the lanterns inside of dungeons.
There are some doors in dungeons that
won’t open if you don’t light the lanterns.
The boomerang can stop enemies from moving
and get items from a distance.
The bombs are extraordinary items that can
damage enemies and open holes in walls.
But if you get caught in the blast, you
will take damage, so be careful.
You can put many different things in empty
bottles and then use them later.
If you have a bow, you can shoot arrows.
The mushroom is an ingredient needed
to make magic powder.
It is said that, if you sprinkle magic powder
on an enemy, it will have a surprising effect.
If you don’t know how to use any other items,
press the R Button at the Game Screen to check.

Zelda:
Ah, so you’re the fortune teller.
You just got here, but could you divine
the location of the Book of Mudora?

Fortune Teller:
Abracadabra Alakazam...
Abracadabra Alakazam...
Unfortunately, I don’t know where the Book of Mudora is.
But a fairy has appeared near the youth.

Zelda:
A fairy, huh? Hero of Light, did you hear that?
It seems a fairy has appeared. Do your best.

Agihna:
Hmm. It’s not here either.
It’s called the Book of Mudora, so it should
look like a normal book. Where is it?

Fortune Teller:
Princess Zelda.

Zelda:
Eh? Have you found the Book of Mudora?

Fortune Teller:
No, I see an odd bee.

Zelda:
An odd bee?

Fortune Teller:
It is attracted to monsters.

Zelda:
It’s a bee that will attack monsters.
Did you hear that, Hero of Light?
A monster exterminating gold bee has appeared.
But be careful.

Agihna:
Hmm. It’s not here either.
What color of book is it?
Ah, I should have asked the princess for more details.

Soldier:
Princess.

Zelda:
You’re the soldier from the northeast.
Has something happened?

Soldier:
It seems the Magic Shop has completed a
gold potion, but as usual they could only make one.

Zelda:
Is that so? Good work.
Did you hear that, Hero of Light?
The Magic Shop in the northeast
has completed a gold potion.
You should head there.

Narrator:
The Magic Shop in northeast Hyrule.
Magic potions are sold there.
The red gives physical strength. The green gives magic.
The blue is an extraordinary potion that fully heals both.
The gold potion not only fully heals both physical strength
and magic, but also shortens the time needed to accumulate
power in your sword for a short while after drinking it.
If you have never tried it before, you should do so.

Agihna:
Ah... not here either. *gasp*
I’m a bit tired. *gasp*…Where is it?
The youth might have already
found the stone tablet.
I'll try some more, I will not be outdone.

Zelda:
Ah, fortune teller. Do you know
where the Book of Mudora is yet?

Fortune Teller:
Abracadabra Alakazam...
Abracadabra Alakazam...
I do not see the Book of Mudora.
The monster-attracted bee has left.

Zelda:
Is that so? Hero of Light, did you hear that?
The monster-attracted bee has left.
But don’t give up. Keep trying.

Narrator:
You’ve made it to the depths of
the labyrinth, haven’t you?
There are a lot of tricks in the labyrinth.
Check every nook and cranny.
Have you missed a switch hidden
on the floor or under a pot?
There are doors that won’t open
until you step on a switch.
There are also switches that
you must continue pressing.
Have you overlooked any walls that
can be destroyed with bombs?
Grab things at a distance with
the Boomerang.
There are also gaps you have to use
the hookshot to cross over.
There are also obstacles that only
the hammer can flatten.
Try out various items.

Fortune Teller:
Princess Zelda.

Zelda:
I’m guessing you...
haven’t found the Book of Mudora.

Fortune Teller:
It seems that the youth can use a lot of bombs.

Zelda:
Is that so? Did you hear that, Hero of Light?
It seems you can use a lot of bombs.
But watch out for the blast.

Narrator:
To use the spin attack, you
must first store up power.
To store up power, hold down the B Button.
Once your sword is full of power, let go
of the B Button to attack while spinning.
If it hits an enemy, it will do twice
the normal damage.

Soldier:
No, the priest hasn’t shown up yet.
It’s almost time for him
to show up at the castle...
Where is he?

Agihna:
No, where could the Book of Mudora be?
I’ve searched over there. I’ve looked here.
I’ve looked in ever nook and cranny...
Ahh...
This is the kind of situation where my
brother would figure it out right away.
Where has he gone?
I hope he gets back soon.

Priest:
Ugh, help me. I... I...
I’m at the southern lake...
Come quickly... Help me...

Soldier:
Princess! Princess Zelda!

Zelda:
You’re the soldier from the
northeast from before.
What has happened?

Soldier:
The Magic Shop has started a sale.
All of the potions are half price.

Zelda:
Oh my! Amazing!
Hero of Light, did you hear that?
The potions are half price.
You should be able to get to the Magic Shop quickly if you play your ocarina.

Narrator:
If you press the X Button while on the
overworld, you will see the Overworld Map.
To see the whole thing, press the X Button again.
To return to the original screen, press
the X Button once again.
If you press the X Button while in a labyrinth,
the rooms you have been to will be shown.
Once you get the Map, the rooms you
haven’t been to will also show up.
Once you have a sword, you can slash it and store power in it.
To store power, hold down the B Button.

Zelda:
Ah, Fortune Teller.
Have you seen anything new?

Fortune Teller:
Abracadabra Alakazam...
Abracadabra Alakazam...
The bombs have gone back to normal.

Zelda:
Is that so? Hero of Light, did you hear that?
The bombs have gone back to normal.
Pay close attention to how many bombs you have left.

Narrator:
There are many rooms in the labyrinth.
Check it out on the map.
Be extra suspicious of rooms with nothing in them.
Search every nook and cranny.
Don’t overlook walls you can destroy or statues whose tongues you can pull.
To pull on something, stand next to the
thing you want to pull and use the control
pad while pressing the A Button.

Fortune Teller:
Princess Zelda.

Zelda:
Have you seen something?

Fortune Teller:
I see a fairy.
It won’t last more than half a minute.

Zelda:
Is that so?
Hero of Light, did you hear that?
It seems a fairy has appeared, but
it will only last for half a minute.
Don’t get impatient and do your best.

Fortune Teller:
Oh, wonderful.

Zelda:
What is it this time?

Fortune Teller:
A beam is coming from the end
of the youth's sword sword.

Zelda:
Oh, amazing.
Hero of Light, did you hear that?
Try swinging your sword.
Did a beam come out?
You can attack distant enemies with that beam.

Zelda:
Have you seen anything new?

Fortune Teller:
Abracadabra Alakazam...
Abracadabra Alakazam...
The Magic Shop’s sale has ended.

Zelda:
Is that so?
Hero of Light, did you hear that?
The half price sale at the Magic Shop has ended.
If you are running low on health, try
searching for a fairy. Look for a fairy fountain.

Zelda:
What is it? Have you seen anything new?

Fortune Teller:
Abracadabra Alakazam...
Abracadabra Alakazam...
The sword’s beam power has disappeared.

Zelda:
Hero of Light, did you hear that?
It may be tough, but keep trying.

Fortune Teller:
Princess Zelda.

Zelda:
Have you seen something?

Fortune Teller:
A mysterious power of Hyrule
is gathering in the youth.
5, 4, 3, 2, 1.
The power has disappeared.

Zelda:
This... This is the mysterious power
of Hyrule that Agihna spoke of.
Hero of Light, Hyrule itself is
supporting your courage.
Do your best.

Fortune Teller:
Princess Zelda.

Zelda:
Have you seen something?

Fortune Teller:
I see power in the youth's arrows.
They can be used infinitely.

Zelda:
Hero of Light, did you hear that?
It seems you can infinitely use arrows.
You might be able to defeat
strong enemies with your arrows.
Try it out.

Soldier:
Princess Zelda!

Zelda:
What is it?

Soldier:
The suspicious looking person from before who
settled in Hyrule has set up shop in another place.

Zelda:
I heard about him from Agihna.
But keep this a secret from Agihna.
He is quite busy right now.

Soldier:
Yes, ma’am!

Zelda:
How much time is left?

Fortune Teller:
Abracadabra Alakazam...
Abracadabra Alakazam...
There is not much time left.
The power in the arrows has disappeared.

Zelda:
Is that so?
Hero of Light, did you hear that?
It seems the power in your arrows has disappeared.
Pay attention to how many arrows you have left.
There is not much time left, but don’t get rushed.

Fortune Teller:
Oh, wonderful.

Zelda:
What have you seen this time?

Fortune Teller:
Even if the youth uses magic,
the magic power won’t go down.

Zelda:
Is that so?
Hero of Light, did you hear that?
It seems your magic power won’t go down.
Ah, that reminds me of a
weapon called the Fire Rod.
Link the Hero, said the Fire Rod was
effective against a moth-like enemy called Gamos.
But it seems that if you keep using
the Fire Rod, your magic will soon be gone.
Try it out.

Fortune Teller:
Oh!

Zelda:
What is it?

Fortune Teller:
I know where the Book of Mudora is.

Zelda:
So you’ve finally found it. Where is it?

Fortune Teller:
In the depths of the basement.

Zelda:
The basement?
I’m sorry, soldier.
Could you go to Link’s house and tell Agihna
that the Book of Mudora is in the basement?

Soldier:
Yes, ma’am!

Zelda:
Is there still time left?

Fortune Teller:
Abracadabra Alakazam...
Abracadabra Alakazam...
There are 2 minutes left.
The infinite magic power has disappeared.

Zelda:
Is that so? Hero of Light, did you hear that?
The limitless magic power has disappeared;
it’s gone back to normal.
But don’t abandon hope, and keep trying.

Agihna:
I’ve found the Book of Mudora.
So it was in there.
But I can’t read what it says.
Oh, youth, you’ve returned.
Ah, perfect. We need to hurry to
Hyrule Castle and see Princess Zelda.

Agihna:
Princess, this is the Book of Mudora.
Yes, this.

Zelda:
Look at this.
The writing on these stone tablets is in
the language used in Hyrule in ancient times.
It says that there is a sealed power buried
on the mountain known as the Silver Arrows.

Agihna:
It says “the mountain”... Does it mean Death Mountain?
I shall accompany the priest and the youth there at once.

Priest:
This is the church. It’s getting
late today, so spend the night here.

Narrator:
This program was brought to you by Nintendo and St. GIGA.
